Most nationalities require a visa to visit East Africa. Options include:

  • Single Entry Visa: Valid for one country
  • East Africa Tourist Visa: Allows travel between Kenya, Uganda, and Rwanda (recommended for multi-country safaris)

Visas can be obtained online (e-visa) before travel or on arrival at the airport. We recommend applying for an e-visa in advance to avoid delays.

We'll provide detailed visa guidance based on your nationality and itinerary.

East Africa offers great wildlife viewing year-round, but the best time depends on what you want to see:

  • June - October: Dry season, excellent game viewing, Great Migration in Masai Mara (July-October)
  • January - February: Dry season, good weather, calving season in Serengeti
  • March - May: Long rains, lower prices, lush landscapes, fewer tourists
  • November - December: Short rains, migratory birds arrive

For gorilla trekking, June-September and December-February are ideal.

Safari Experience

We use custom-designed 4x4 safari vehicles specifically built for game viewing:

  • Pop-up roofs for excellent 360° viewing
  • Large windows for photography
  • Maximum 6 passengers per vehicle (guaranteed window seats)
  • Charging ports for devices
  • Cooler box with complimentary water
  • Two-way radio communication

Our vehicles are regularly maintained and equipped with first aid kits.

While we can never guarantee specific wildlife sightings (they're wild animals!), East Africa is one of the best places in the world to see the Big Five:

  • Lion: Very common in all major parks
  • Elephant: Abundant throughout East Africa
  • Buffalo: Large herds commonly seen
  • Leopard: Elusive but frequently spotted
  • Rhino: Best seen in conservancies and protected areas

Our experienced guides know the best spots and times for wildlife viewing, significantly increasing your chances of incredible sightings.
